What can you find in Sachar International Center?
This week we introduce you to Sachar International Center.
Here's what you'll find in this building:
- Office of Academic Affairs and Student Experience (OAASE).
- The Cluster: our students like to study and work on group projects in this space (the right image above).
- International Hall (Sachar 116): some of your classes will be in this lecture hall!
- Wasserman Cinematheque: this is where some of your orientation sessions will take place in a few weeks!
Outside of the OAASE, you'll find couches where students like to sit and hang out in between classes. The OAASE frequently hosts 'tabling events' at the tables outside of our office that range from visitors from other Brandeis departments, themed events such as graduate student appreciation and international women's day celebration.
Sachar International Center is connected to the Lemberg Academic Center. You'll be walking between these two buildings frequently for most of your classes. We'll talk about what you'll find in the Lemberg Academic Center in our next newsletter!
Please read below for reminders and updates like exemption exam sign-up and OGA's Roommate Matching Directory.

The International Business School Weekly newsletter will be sent to your inbox biweekly, and will transition to weekly as we get closer to orientation. All international graduate students are invited to attend this presentation by the ISSO. You are invited to attend the “Introduction to the ISSO and Maintaining Status in the U.S.” Presentation. This is an important presentation that is mandatory for all international graduate students with a Brandeis issued immigration document.
