Welcome to Brandeis School of Business and Economics

Final Orientation Day Tomorrow!

Dear Student,

Our final orientation day is tomorrow!

We hope you had an informative first day of orientation last Thursday! A lot of information was shared, and you should have already received your academic advising slides from your program advisors. Don't hesitate to connect with your advisors if you have questions. Our faculty and staff truly enjoyed meeting each of you. We hope you enjoyed your time connecting with your orientation leaders, and fellow new classmates. The slides from Thursday morning's welcome session is attached for your reference.

We hope you had a restful weekend and look forward to seeing you tomorrow. A light breakfast will be available between 9 - 10 a.m. in the World Court, Lemberg Academic Center before the Case Study/Analysis Sessions.

We will have name tags for you to pick up on Day 2 of orientation in the World Court during breakfast. During name tag pick-up:

  • We will give away 10 double wall stainless steel 18 oz. tumblers to the first 10 persons that arrive.
  • There will be a raffle for you to enter when you pick up your name tag. We will select 10 additional students to win tumblers! We will select winners at the end of the day.

Please note: If you did not make it to Day 1 Orientation for Check-in, please stop by the Academic Affairs and Student Experience (OAASE) in Sachar International Center on Monday to check-in. Once you have been checked-in, you will receive the printed orientation schedule, a welcome back-pack, name tag for orientation, and table tent for use when you attend your classes. Please keep this information with you.

Please be reminded that orientation on Thursday, August 21, and Monday, August 25 is mandatory. All new graduate business students are automatically registered for both days of Brandeis School of Business and Economics Orientation. Please dress casual for both days of orientation.

Orientation is required for all new students.

If you have an extenuating circumstance and cannot attend orientation, please contact your Program Advisor.

Information and previous newsletters can also be found on the new student website.
